Tips for dads on supporting newborns and mums

Many fathers would like to help their partners when the baby arrives,
they are committed to contributing to the well-being of the baby and mum.But the problem is they do not know how to go about it.We are here to help, these tips will serve as a guide.

You can start with encouraging and praising her.Let's be truthful to ourselves the process of pregnancy and giving birth is draining physically, mentally and otherwise, and at this point in time new mothers need all the love and care from their partners.Tell her you love her ,that you are proud of her
and thank her.Buy her healthy snacks and treats so she can have enough energy for herself and the baby, and you can run a bath for her.

Help out with the baby. Do not say i can not carry a little baby, if you really want to help her then you should learn new things on how to take care of a newborn. Change diaper, burb the baby after meal, bath the baby, carry the baby so your woman can sleep/ rest etc.

Get chores like cooking and cleaning done by you or someone.A clean house and cooked good food can help new mothers relax and recover fast. Also, when you go out or spend some few hours away from her you should call her on the phone to know how she and the baby are faring.Communicating daily during this period is beneficial as new mothers feel isolated at this time.

Ensure that she is comfortable and relaxed. If you have older children help to take care of their needs so they do not stress mummy.
