Truth:It is better to eat healthy and nutritious meals and snacks in  moderate portions than eating too much of everything. So do not overeat in the name of "eating for two.

In Nigeria, certain superstitious beliefs exist that have been passed from one generation to another such as not eating snails as doing so will make your baby dull or sluggish, not allowing any one to cross your leg while seated as the baby would resemble that person who passed over your legs. Also, a pregnant woman should not mock anyone as the baby will resemble the person she mocked, stay away from disabled people so your baby will not be disabled, tie a stone or safety pin on your wrapper so that evil spirits will not be able to come near your baby, she must not tell anyone the expected day of delivery and the gender of her child as the child can be killed and drinking from bottle directly can cause the baby to become a stammerer.

Snails  are actually very nutritious and can not make babies dull or sluggish.Stammering and stuttering stems from neurological, familial and genetics predispositions and not from drinking from bottles
