Need help on what to look out for in a Creche?Read this

When parents search for a creche for their children,they want  a place where their kids can be safe, and where the mental,emotional and physical development of their children is guaranteed.

Here is what to look out for in making this all important decision: 

Get to know the maximum number of children that can be admitted. You wouldn't want so many children in a place at a time.It should have at most 10-15 children. 

A member of staff should be in charge of maximum two children(ie taking care of all their needs).These members of staff should be middle aged or experienced nanny and not teenagers.They should demonstrate sensitivity,patience,liveliness and passion been around children.

The ambience of the creche must be very appealing.It should have outdoor playground,toys,colourful simulation materials,kitchen,toilets,beds,bathrooms etc.It should also have interesting learning  activities and beautiful experiences such as dancing,signing,games,puzzles,rhymes,numbers,alphabets,teaching children good manners and making friends.

Observe other children' s behaviour in the creche.Check out their eating habit and other positive and negative behaviour.You can also ask other parents with kids in the same creche if they are satisfied with the services the facility offers.These actions will help you make informed decisions.

Get to know their safety and health policy.They should have safety measures in case of an emergency.In the area of health,children with contagious illnesses like chickenpox,cough etc should stay at home until well so that other children will not contract the sickness.The creche must also ensure cleanliness and child proof of every facility.They must also show that a child will not be left alone unattended by any staff.They must also show that they have a very good way of keeping records of each child.
