At this age where kids are been diagnosed with obesity, and diabetes to name a few. Parents need to be very careful about what their children eat.
To help parents make the best food choices, we have lined up healthy foods that kids will love!!

1. Sweet potatoes-It contains vitamins A, B5, B6, and E.And also has minerals like potassium, magnesium, manganese, iron, and calcium. Sweet potatoes are a rich source of dietary fiber and have an excellent anti-oxidant substance. This wonderful food can assist the immune system to fight diseases and infections. They also maintain healthy-looking skin and energy levels.
It can be eaten baked, fried, or boiled with sauces, stews, and beans.

2. Eggs-They are wonderful sources of protein. As they contain vitamins, amino acids, and nutrients essential for the development of a child. Eggs support brain development and cognitive memory, bone health, and good vision. It can be eaten boiled or made into scrambled eggs and omelets. For additional nutrients add colorful vegetables like red bell pepper, onions, and tomatoes to scrambled eggs.

3. Beans-There are different varieties of beans around. The most important thing here is that beans are loaded with so many nutritional benefits plus they are also a good source of protein. They help in proper growth, reduce blood sugar which leads to improved mood, and help kids to feel full.

4. Milk and other dairy products like yogurt, and cheese are excellent sources of calcium. Which build up strong bones. Kids from one year of age and above can have milk but ensure the child is not lactose intolerant. 

5. Nuts-There are so many nuts that kids can enjoy.Nuts like peanuts (groundnut), almonds, walnuts, and cashew nuts. Almonds should be taken by kids from five years and above.

6. Fruits and Vegetables-All fruits and vegetables are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants for optimum health. But some have more nutrients than others. Kids should be given fruits like avocados, oranges, apples, strawberries, blueberries, and mangoes. Vegetables like peas, spinach, carrots, and cabbage.

Kids can be given fish preferably salmon fish and chicken.
