See What Is Happening To Children In Barma,Borno State.

Kudos to Modupe Ozolua the founder of Empower 54.Who has drawn the attention of the state government of Borno,Nigeria on the plight of some children at the Internally Displaced Camp (IDP) in Barma, Borno State.
She was a guest on Africa Independent Television(AIT) Focus Nigeria programme,today.Her video coverage illuminated on the incidence of many malnourished children.These children were very weak,sick,hungry and so thin that one could count the bones on them.You can see from the pictures.
By her action,the state government swung into action by getting these children out of the IDP camp to a newly built estate where they are currently receiving treatment from the government medical team and international organizations.
There may be other malnourished children in farther places from the IDP camp at Barma.We call on the state government to ensure that all IDP camps are seriously combed to bring out malnourished children so that the needed treatment  and care are given to them.And their innocent lives saved.
