Daily After School Checklist for Kids

 Kids still need to be guided, that is the essence of giving them a checklist. Daily after school checklist for kids is meant to teach the kid how to apportion his or her time after school hours so that play won’t take all the time or one activity dominating others. A modest daily after school checklist for kids should look like this:

• Remove shoes and stockings

This should be the first thing your kid does before stepping into the living room to avoid dirt and germs from outside.

• Unpack schoolbag and lunchbox

The schoolbag should be unpacked so all odd items are removed and those that won’t be needed the next day. The lunchbox should also be unpacked and put in the sink and left over food trashed.

• Put clothes in the washing machine or laundry basket

A daily after school checklist for kids needs to also be very detailed; next is to undress and put clothes in the washing machine or laundry bag.  

• Take your bath

Taking of bath after school is very essential to wash off the dirt that would have been carried from school activities and outside and also refresh the kid.

• Eat

Next on the checklist is time to eat or take a snack if the child is not hungry. Food helps in a child’s health and growth. 

 

• Rest

Rest is essential after school; remember the child wakes up early to prepare for school, so it is essential that the child also rests after school to relax the brain. 

• Homework/ time to read

Academic work continues at home also if the child must make good result, this means there must be a set time for studies, this time should be after the child has rested. 

• Recreation     

They say, “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy” which means a time should be set aside for the kid’s recreation, this should be after study. Watch a movie, listing to music or time for sports. 

• Prepare for the next day

Before it is time to go to bed, it is important your kids prepare all that they will need and use the next day in school, inclusive of tidying shoes, getting uniforms set and putting the needed books in their schoolbag etc.
